For some, figuring out what to do in life is a tedious process - not for me. From the time I was 15, being a financial advisor had been my goal and in April of 1991 at the age of 22 (fresh out of California State University, Sacramento with my Bachelor of Science degree in finance) I was fortunate enough to realize my dream with Edward Jones.

Professionally, I hold the AAMS® and CFP® designations in the belief that continuing education is an important part of taking care of my clients. For the last 21 consecutive years, I have been fortunate enough to be included in the firm's Managing Partner's conference. This invitation is only extended to the firm's top 350 financial advisors.

While my practice covers financial situations of many kinds, I particularly enjoy helping people plan for retirement. Getting to know what is important to my clients by using a personalized and strategic process and partnering with them to help them stay on track is of the utmost importance.

I married my wife, Cyndi (Tuolumne County native and former banker), in 1996. She became a self-proclaimed "utility player" with the birth of our son, Trent, in 1998, followed by our twin daughters, Alexis and Erika, in 2000. All three of our progenies have ties to my alma mater CSU, Sacramento. Trent recently graduated with a degree in finance and the girls finished their second year and are on the same track. In my spare time, I've been involved in the Elk's Lodge, The Sonora Area Foundation and Little League Baseball among other things. Our family is definitely passionate about finance, baseball and giving back to the community we are so thankful for.

All these years later, I am so grateful for the blessings of my career: the people I've met, helping to meet their goals and build their dreams, mentoring newer financial advisors, being included in the leadership team for our region and most importantly, the relationships I've built.
