To better serve the needs of our Chamber members the Board of Directors combined the Marketing/Member Outreach Committees in 2006.  Each committee promotes the image of the chamber to the community, chamber members and potential members.  They share similar chamber goals and seem to thrive on constant interaction to ensure those goals are met for the greater good.  If you enjoy sales and marketing you too will thrive as you serve on this dynamic committee.

The member outreach responsibilities include helping all members to become aware of the benefits of Chamber membership, highlight current Chamber activities and programs, and foster a professional image, proactive, and inclusive of all members and groups.

Our marketing programs include the newsletter, website, 100th Chamber Birthday year celebration, Trip to China, monthly informational mailers, events, media relations. The Committee created the highly successful Member Benefits Discount Program.

The Committee meets monthly at the Chamber office on the third Thursday of the month at 11:30 am. Meetings are open and Chamber members are urged to join the committee. We will be needing assistance from many members as plans are made for the many events to celebrate the Chamber's 100th Birthday.

Don't wait to be asked... there is enough work for everyone. And, we need your ideas and suggestions!
