Business After Hours Networking Mixers

Apply to have your company host a Business After Hours Networking Mixer.

The purpose of the Business After Hours Networking Mixer is to
  1. Showcase the host firm's business to Chamber members and guests.
    (The host firm must be a Chamber member in good standing at the time of the event.)
  2. Provide business contact opportunities for members and invited guests in a relaxed setting on a regularly scheduled date each month.
Chamber Responsibilities
Provides no-host liquor, beer, wine and soft drinks from 5 to 7 p.m.

Publicizes the event
(1) In newsletter calendar
(2) Newsletter box
(3) In Mid Month Mailer
(4) Orally at Chamber functions
(5) Provide information to local media
(6) On the website

Allows Chamber members in good standing the right to host a “Business After Hours” function on a first come, first served basis, one time in any 24 month period.

There is no charge to the host company for the opportunity to have the Mixer at their facility.

Identify Ambassadors who will chair, co-chair and be the contact persons for the event.

Approve of any Chamber member non-profit announcements/promotions at mixers.

Host Responsibilities
Provide a letter of approval to serve beverages at your facility (30 days in advance required)

Provide floor space and have parking available to accommodate up to 100 people

Provide complimentary hors d’oeuvres for 75 to 100 people

Commercial caterers, when used, must be Chamber members in good standing.
Supply tables for ticket sales, bar and raffle prizes. Contact the Chamber office for information as to size, etc.

Host, if possible, should attend at least one or two previous mixers.

Supply door prize to be awarded in Raffle.

Obtain approval of Chamber office for any non-profit announcements/promotions at mixers.

Don't forget to bring your business cards to the Mixers. The Chamber holds drawings for a spot as a guest on our radio show as well as your business profile featured on our website!
